Darrin & Suzie Saffell '89

Suzie (Harmon) Saffell and Darrin Saffell graduated from Oklahoma Christian University in 1989. Suzie grew up literally next to the campus and some of her best memories involve attending OC basketball games all over the country. Suzie and Darrin met and married while attending OC. Suzie was a member of Gamma Rho and was the class President her sophomore year (the first female class president at OC). Darrin was a member of Kappa Sigma Tau and was one of the first 2 mechanical engineers to graduate from OC. Darrin and Suzie live in Keller, Texas, are active members at The Hills Church Keller and own Olympic Restoration Systems in DFW. Suzie is a past President of the Oklahoma Christian University North Texas Alumni Chapter and a board member of the National Alumni Council.

Suzie is the daughter of Bob and Karen Harmon both alums of OC. Suzie and Darrin's children also live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, Courtney (Saffell) and Alec Schaffner, both 2015 graduates of OC and Ross and Tori (Treat) Saffell both 2018 graduates of OC. They have two grandsons, Judah and Jordan Saffell and one granddaughter, Taylor Schaffner and another granddaughter Schaffer on the way!
