Scholarship Application
Because of the giving spirit of so many OC Alumni in the greater DFW area we are pleased to offer the OC Alumni North Texas Chapter Scholarship. All scholarship funds are from our annual "Double the Love, Double the Impact" campaign in mid February.
This scholarship is valid only for Fall/Spring 2026-2027 at OC and will be distributed to the students account by dividing the total amount awarded in half and crediting a half to each semester. Student must attend both semesters to receive the total amount awarded.

Eligibility Requirements -
- New/First-time student to OC
- Have applied and received notification of acceptance from OC
- Attending OC beginning in the Fall of 2026 (Scholarship is valid only for Fall/Spring 2026-2027 at OC)
- Must reside in one of the following North Texas counties: Collin, Cooke, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Fannin, Grayson, Hood, Hunt, Johnson, Kaufman, Parker, Rockwall, Tarrant, Wise
- Applications must be received on or before 11:59 pm Friday, March 6, 2026
- Recommendation letters must be received on or before 11:59 pm Sunday, March 22, 2026 to be eligible for consideration.
Instructions -
- First, fill out the Scholarship application form below thoughtfully and completely and then click SUBMIT.
- Next, ask the writers of your two (2) recommendation letters to email their submissions to [email protected]
- The application is complete ONLY when the scholarship committee has received:

When all the above are received an email will be sent to the applicant from the scholarship committee informing them that their application is complete and under review.
Deadlines -
- Applications must be received on or before 11:59 pm Friday, March 6, 2026.
- Recommendation letters must be received on or before 11:59 pm Sunday, March 22, 2026.
- Applications or Recommendations received after the deadlines will NOT be considered.
The Process -
In the days following the recommendation letters deadline, the scholarship committee will meet to review all completed applications. Each person on the committee will rate the application on a scale of 1-5 based on the content of what is provided on the application. As a result, we urge students to take some time and give some thought to their answers. Once all applications have been rated, the committee will then look at the students financial aid packet and determine the scholarship recipients accordingly.
- Semi-finalist will be contacted Monday, March 30 2026 in order to set up a Google Meet interview.
- Winners will be announced via email Monday, April 13 2026.
