Susie Patterson Jackson '79There is no-one who is a more passionate cheerleader for Oklahoma Christian University than Susie. In fact, she was a cheerleader while a student at OC in the 1970s, having graduated with an elementary education degree in 1979. Susie spent her post-OC years teaching kindergarten, serving children with disabilities, and dedicating much of her time and expertise in advancing tools for those with learning differences. She is an active volunteer in the Fort Worth community. Raising a family in Texas, Susie has kept strong ties to her alma mater. She was part of the early formation of what is today, OC’s Houston Alumni Chapter. Having moved with her family to Fort Worth, Susie was a leader and charter member of OC’s North Texas Alumni Chapter. She now serves on the Board of Trustees for OC.
All four of the Jackson children (Katherine Branch, John Paul, Joel, and Royce) have attended, or are attending OC. She has one grandchild and another on the way. |
